Future Now

What my movie represents is world hunger, and how people should get together and help the people of Africa. Also how we should donate money and food to help the cause.

Tuesday, May 4, 2010

Narrative

I think world hunger is a problem that should be solved. People should try and help them because they have nothing to get them through. People are making all of this money and spending it on cars and these big houses and all this stuff they do not need . Some parts of Africa and India are the ones effected by this. They try and find fruit on trees and on the floor to try and survive, but it doesn't work out. Half the population of these countries are getting destroyed because of being hungry and starving to death. People should donate money and food to help them out, because they have nothing. All they have is their family and probably some friends that they know or they are staying with. I also think the people who are suffering should get together and help each other out and stick with each other because they have nothing or no one else to be with them. After world hunger began there has been a major decrease in population in continents such as Africa, they were affected the most. There has been numerous amounts of fund raisers and donations given for the families suffering in Africa. Now there is so many other things happening in other countries such as Haiti and Chile, they suffered an earthquake, so now there are fundraisers for the people their. In my opinion i think we should be most focused on world hunger because it has been going on for such a long time and kids and their families are suffering and dying each day, World hunger has been by far the most affective cause of death and illnesses.

My name is Quamaine Tomlin and i am sixteen years old. I am a sophomore at CSIHSIS, and i cant wait until I graduate and go off to college. I live in a neighborhood named Stapleton. I live with mom and dad, and i dont really like being there most of the time. Most of my family comes from North Carolina. I did not come from there, I am born and raised on Staten Island. I am African American, i like to play basketball for fun or to pass time when i am bored. I really like the game and how competitive it is. I am not a person who likes to lose when i play. I like to win. Someday i would hope i can make it to the NBA and play with my idol Kevin Garnett. He is a type of player i wan to be like. The person who influences me to do good is my brother. He helps me take the right paths. He is a person i know who will not quit on me. The thing that i dislike the most is people who hate. That gets me so mad when people hate on you. I try to ignore it but  sometimes it gets the best of me so i try my best. The issue i am worried about the most is global warming. Global Warming is something that has and will change the world forever. Global warming is a serious issue we should help stop. We should stop pollution and littering so we can have a nice planet and environment. My dream in life is to be a basketball player in the NBA. I feel if i keep working hard i can actually go.
